1. Registration Terms

Registration to Freedom Day School is based on first come first serve as well as best fit for class size. We will notify you if your child has a spot or if they will be placed on a waitlist.

2. Session Dates

Parents/Guardians agree that student(s) will be enrolled in the program for the Spring semester of 2021, which begins on Monday, January 4th, 2021, and ends on Thursday, June 17th, 2021.

2021 Freedom Day School Important Dates:
Martin Luther King Day: January 18th Closed 
Presidents Day: February 15th Closed 
Spring Break: April 5th-8th CLOSED
Memorial Day:May 31st CLOSED



Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, if we need to close we will notify parents as promptly as possible. Depending on the specifics of the situation we will judge if a refund is necessary or if the time period of closure is small enough we will add dates to the end of the semester.

3. Registration Fees

Parents/Guardians agree to pay to Freedom Day School the following non-refundable fees and deposits:


a. Registration/Curriculum Fee. For new students, Parents/Guardians agree to pay a $60 non-refundable semester registration fee for one child or a $100 non-refundable semester registration fee for a family. Payment of the registration fee is due at the time this enrollment contract is received by Freedom Day School


b. Return of Fees and Deposits. Parents or guardians agree and understand that the registration fee is non-refundable.

4. Tuition Payment Options

a. Monthly Payments. Monthly payments are due the student’s 1st week of each month. Late payment will result in a late fee of $35.00.

5. Freedom Day School Termination/ early withdraw of enrollment contract

a. Termination. All students will be accepted on a conditional basis. Parents or guardians may be asked to withdraw student if Freedom Day School determines that the program is not meeting student’s needs or that the student’s presence is having an adverse effect on the program. Parents or Guardians agree and understand that termination of this enrollment contract and un-enrollment of the student from Freedom Day School’s program does not change the refund provisions set forth in this enrollment contract.


b. Early Withdrawal from the program must have a 30 day written letter. Parents and guardians understand and agree that tuition will be paid in full during the 30 day withdrawal period.

6. General Terms and Conditions

There is a 15 minute grace period to pick up your child(ren). Once the time is 1:15 P.M., you will be charged a fee of $5 per minute per child. The fees will be automatically charged to your form of payment on file.

7. Freedom Day School Closure/ Student Absence

Freedom Day School does not give refunds for days student is absent due to illnesses, vacations or other personal reasons.


a. School Closure: Freedom Day School will follow all weather closings based on the National Weather Service and Government Executive Orders. In the event of closure beyond control of Freedom Day School, refunds will not be given. In the event we have to close Freedom Day School due to COVID-19 we will make a judgement call and will communicate with you. 



b. Freedom Day School reserves the right to adopt/amend rules and regulations as deemed necessary. The Student and the Parents or Guardians shall comply fully with the rules and regulations as stated or amended in this contract.

8. Sick Policy

In fairness to ALL children, please keep your child home if they exhibit any of the following symptoms/conditions. 


Temperature of 100.0 degrees or higher within the last 24 hours (Must be fever free for full 24 hours without the use of Tylenol or Motrin) 
1. Diarrhea and/or Vomiting within the last 24 hours 
2. Severe cough 
3. Severe cold, especially with greenish/yellow nasal drainage 
4. Undetermined rash (requires Doctors note indicating it is not contagious in order to return to school.)
5. Sore Throat and/or difficulty swallowing. (Must be on antibiotics 24 hours before returning to school with Strep Throat, with a Doctors note) 
6. Red, watery, burning, itching eyes or yellowish drainage. (Pink eye must be treated for 24 hours before returning to school)
7. Communicable Diseases

8. Lice, Including the presence of eggs or nits.
9.Any symptoms of childhood diseases such as scarlet fever, German measles, mumps, chicken pox, or whooping cough.

As a program, the Director reserves the right to make judgement calls on specific cases to protect all children.

9. Disciplinary Policies and Procedures

STEP 1. Verbal warning and written documentation. Original copy will be kept on file and a copy will be given to parent(s).


STEP 2. Written Warning along with meeting between Teacher/Parent/Director for plan of action on how to help the student succeed. Information may be given at this time to the parent on how to help coach the student at home.


STEP 3. After a third write up for behavior, the Director may deem necessary for the student to be withdrawn from the Freedom Day School program. Please refer to Section 3(b) for further details.


Depending on the nature of the incident, parents may be asked to pick up their child early during any steps of this process.
